How to use wool nappies?

Wool can absorb a lot of moisture, but it is also important that the nappy absorbs enough. Especially for the night nappy, an extra (bamboo) insert can be useful. Before the first use, the wool nappy should be made water-repellent by treating it with lanolin. “Woolkuur” can be used for this purpose. Let the wool nappy soak overnight in water with two tablespoons of Woolkuur. Washing is best done with a wool detergent (with lanolin).

Popolini wool nappies are made of wool from controlled organic animal farms. These farms are animal friendly. The feed is not genetically modified, animal reproduction is done naturally and “mulesing” is prohibited. The use of pesticides is prohibited, including for the pastures where the animals graze.
